We currently have a very small number of places available for entry into Year 3 in September 2025.

Helping Your Child to Settle In

We recognise that helping new children settle into a new school is of paramount importance.  To do this, we will have an induction day in June, when any children joining the school will spend the day with our current Year 2 class.  This will help them acclimatise to the new environment and start to make new friends.  All new joiners will be introduced on that day to their 'buddy', who will have been trained on how to help new pupils to settle in.  This helps new pupils to make a strong start in September, and is intended to be a positive experience for them, which will help them take that next step into a secondary school as they complete Year 6.

Admissions Process for Entry into Year 3 in September 2025

Requests for in-year admissions are dealt with by the school, as we are our own admissions authority for in-year admissions.  All applications for entry into Year 3 in September 2025 must be made on the In Year Application Form, which can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

All applications will be dealt with as soon as possible and within 10 working days of the application being received. If places are not available at the time of applying, then applicants will be informed along with information regarding rights of appeal.  Appeals resulting from in-year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
