School Fund

You are probably all aware of the increasing stretch on school budgets.  School funding is a concern for all school leaders and we are certainly noticing the restrictions on the school budget at Tatsfield.  We’re incredibly grateful to our PTA who help support funding for school trips and curriculum events but we are still looking at creative ways to support our school income.

Last year, we began asking for parents to make donations to our playground equipment (chalk, pegs, tarpaulin, sheets etc.).  Lots of you mentioned that you would find it easier to make a monetary donation to the school rather than bringing in physical donations.  Although physical donations in safe working order are still welcome at school, we have two alternative ways that parents may wish to support school funds:

  1. Making a donation to the school fund

Parents may wish to make a donation to the school fund.  The amount can be chosen by parents per term or once a year.  Donations can be made via Arbor > Quick Actions > Payments > School Fund.

  1. Making a purchase from the whole school Amazon Wishlist or a class Amazon wishlist

Our wishlists can be found on our website at Tatsfield Primary School - Amazon Wishlists (tatsfieldtlt.co.uk)  Could we ask you to ensure you add a comment, when prompted, stating which class the item(s) are intended for along with your name so that we can ensure these valuable resources reach the right class.  Please also take care not to order items too close to the school holidays as this may cause problems with delivery.

We know that living costs within families are also stretched at the moment, and we do not want to contribute to any pressures for families who are not able to support the school in this way at the moment. But, if anyone is able to offer any support via the school fund or Amazon Wishlists, then we appreciate any token that people are able to offer throughout the school year.

Thank you!
