The children were shown a police report from a frog invasion that took place in Tatsfield. The report included an eye-witness account, specific details about the event and an orientation sentence to draw the reader in. After practising these writing tools, the children then had a go at writing their own reports about a pig invasion.   The full class reports are linked here.  I am sure we have a few future police officers in our midst.
